With Outlook 2016 on my Macbook Pro I am not able to send attachments larger than about 10 MB. The program accepts multiple attachments of any size but the transmission fails after trying for about 5 Min. I am using: Office 365 for Mac, Macbook Pro, El Capitan, Outlook 2016; email-account is POP3, T-Online.

Does anybody have a idea what is going on here? Does anybody know where the preferences for Outlook are stored and how to check or change them? I understand that it is possible to limit the email size in the preferences, although the program doesn't complain about the size, it simply fails to transmit larger emails.
